Here are a few selections from the last 50 posts. Note the dramatic variance in tone, from psychotic ranting to ... homicidal ranting? Okay, it's all ranting, but there's a definite sense of the "off my meds" psychosis in the first (from Talk About Comics, March 7, 2006, one of twenty-five posts that day), and seething hatred in the second (from All Things Zombie, March 8, 2006, one of seven or eight posts that day, under two user names (one got banned almost immediately by an admin)).

Common themes: semi-lucid ranting, death threat.  Mel is an ex-girlfriend of mine I broke up with over two years ago. She lives in Prague now and works as an English teacher. To my recollection, I haven't ever translated anything for her (maybe helped her proof her resume once).  I don't think I know any Finnish elves, in case you're wondering; I did, however, meet a Dutch little person once.

Common themes: semi-lucid ranting, death threat; I don't even know how to pronounce "f*ck." "Fuhasterisk-k?"  Maybe she means "fuck," which I use quite a lot, especially on a day when I have to ask forum admins to delete 40+ posts. Then, I pronounce it wearlily: "fuuuuuuuck."  If I shacked up with a girl half my age, she'd be 16, which is gross.

I have no idea if any of her self-description is true. I haven't spoken to this person since 1994. I can't stress that enough. As a friend of mine pointed out, given this person's state of mind, her husband could be a bag of walnuts and her child a copy of The Catcher in the Rye with BABY written on the cover in red crayon. I just don't know. Haven't talked to her for over a decade.

This could go on all day, so I'll knock it off at two. But, even if the tone is semi-reasonable with just a soupçon of psychosis right now, this is where it'll go. Soon. Trust me.
